"I am 21 yrs old and the last born in a family of 3 girls. My Mother died when we were teenagers. My dad is jobless and alone and is hired sometimes to ride boda boda (kind of small motorcycle) to earn a day living. My 2 sisters are jobless so they can’t help me yet. We have always had a big financial challenge at home."

Ambitie/droom:
I started farming, because I had no other source of income. I grew up helping my Dad in the small parcel of land we have. The production is very low due to lack of equipment’s, water to irrigate, fertilizers, various seeds etc. I could produce a lot if I get facilitated with water tank to store water, generator to pump the water and all the pipes for irrigation including seeds and fertilizers

Ondanks dat het zo droog is dat zelfs de waterputten uitdrogen heeft Faith een goede start gemaakt. Er was een vertraging bij aanvang van het project door leveringsproblemen en het extreme weer kon Faith niet starten met irrigeren. Het regenseizoen is net begonnen zodat het waterpeil snel zal herstellen. Het zal nu makkelijker gaan met groente verbouwen en is dan ook minder arbeid intensief.
