"Our family is of low income. My mother is at home and my father is jobless and sometimes earns money by transporting people and luggage with the motorcycle of somebody else and only earns little with that, because he has to give the profit to the boss.
I am the oldest of 4 children in the family. We live in a small plot of land. We have a humble household. I was in secondary school together with my sister Purity. My parents struggled to pay the schoolfees. But for me they failed to bring up the amount needed, so I repeated many times and was studying at home.
My parents did fundraising in the area via the church and sold their only cow, but it was still not enough. I did manual work to earn some money when I was out of school, including cattle rearing, agricultural jobs and helping out in construction sites".

Ambitie/droom:
"I want to become a good and responsible teacher in history and religious education and study at the Lugari diploma teacher training college. These were my best performed subjects in high school A- en B- respectively. Above all I will take in my training too the compulsary subjects (Education background, Gymnastics, Life and Communication skills and community services"
